Princess and the Frog - A historically inspired fantasy

As my final project at university, I created a pair of costumes for an imagined film production of Princess and the Frog, a fantasy tale with costumes inspired by the 1560s and 1570s. The costumes place great focus on showcasing a combination of historical and modern techniques, as well as showcasing the characters' personalities and communicating their roles in the story. A great deal of research was conducted to finalise this projectm indcluding not only historial reasearch but also through looking at various contemporary interpretations of the story and what choices have been made in their costuming.
