Riding habit

This riding habit is inspired by women's fashion of the mid 18th century. The bodice is worn over a pair of fully boned stays and closes with hooks and bars along the centre front. The cotton lining is hand stitched in place.

The outfit is finished off with a hand blocked felt hat which has been embellished with hand dyed feathers and silk bows.

 The bodice, stays and skirts are both made out of second hand materials.
